Featherlite Accounting originated in 2005. Prior to this, Sherry Schaber gained her accounting experience working for other companies. After years of professional development, Sherry opened the small business of Featherlite Accounting which is located just five minutes outside of Olds, Alberta.
This business was created to give clients peace of mind and sense of trust in those who handle their finances. Since the business owner (Sherry) had experienced the financial burden of having her own bookkeeping done incorrectly in the past, she sets an impeccable standard for her own company, and continues a 100% audit rate with Revenue Canada.
The business prides itself on educational background that include degrees, diplomas, and various relevant courses/certificates, and many Revenue Canada courses. The Featherlite Accounting team values continual learning, and regularly engages in professional development courses that further accounting skills and address undated regulations.
Featherlite Accounting provides bookkeeping services for many different business, from local farmers, to service providers, consulting companies, product sales and more. The range of services we provide are outlined on the website and can be clarified via e-mail or through consultation.

Sherry Schaber

I have been in Olds for thirty years and enjoy living on a farm with my husband and various animals. I enjoy spending time with my family (including three grown children) and riding horses when the weather is warmer! My career began in Office Administration at both Olds College and Olds Hospital for approximately five years each. My passion for accounting originated from having my own books done incorrectly, at great financial cost. I took Fundamentals of Financial Management From Mount Royal University and numerous Certified Bookkeeping Specialist Courses from the Knowledge Bureau of Ontario. I continue to take refresher courses with Revenue Canada, Alberta Employment Standards, and more.

I moved to Olds in 1991 and have raised my two children here. I have worked for Perry Appraisals for three years. I have been doing my own books for our business for eighteen years, and had the pleasure of using Sherry’s services for my books. Luck have it, Featherlite Accounting was expanding and I joined the team. I have been working for Featherlite Accounting for over five years now. I have also taken several professional development courses in Payroll Compliance, Alberta Employment Standards, WCB, Minute Books, among others.
